What to do while you wait
- Take ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) for pain — follow package directions
- Apply a cold compress to the outside of the face for swelling
- If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist in milk or saliva
- Do NOT put aspirin directly on the tooth — it can burn tissue

Pick up by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently if dirty — don't scrub. Reinsert or keep in milk. Call us immediately — time is critical.
