Digital Dental X-Rays in Huntington Park, CA
Our digital X-ray system delivers sharp, detailed images with up to 90% less radiation than traditional film, helping Dr. Adelpour catch problems early and diagnose with precision.
Why digital X-rays matter
Many serious dental problems are invisible to the naked eye, cavities between teeth, bone loss from gum disease, infections at the root tip, and impacted teeth. Digital X-rays let Dr. Adelpour see what's happening below the surface and catch problems early when treatment is simpler and less costly.

Frequently asked questions
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use up to 90% less radiation than traditional film. The dose is less than a cross-country flight. We also use lead aprons as an added precaution.
How often do I need dental X-rays?
For most patients, bitewing X-rays are taken once a year and a full-mouth series every 3 to 5 years. We only take X-rays when clinically indicated, never on a fixed schedule.
Do dental X-rays hurt?
No. A sensor is placed in your mouth and you hold still briefly. There's no discomfort from the X-ray itself.
Does insurance cover dental X-rays?
Yes. Denti-Cal and most PPO plans cover diagnostic X-rays as part of preventive care.
